Chief Scouts Silver Award This is the highest Award in the Cub Scout Section. It builds on the Chief Scout's Bronze Award in the Beaver Scout Section and leads on to the Chief Scout's Gold Award in the Scout Section. It is achieved by completing the following requirements: Challenge Badges The Challenge Badges offer a variety of activities so that Cub Scouts can develop personal interests and skills. The requirements are in the files below: Activity Badges Activity Badges are designed to further develop a Cub Scout's skills and interests, they are an optional addition to the Balanced Programme. There are thirty-two badges available Cub Scouts and the requirements are are listed in the following pdf files:
Staged Activity Badges In addition to these, there are four Activity Badges staged across these Sections. These are: The Staged Activity Badges have been designed to provide a seamless approach throughout the Sections. For each stage there are five levels available. This means that a young person can gain whichever badge is appropriate to the level they have reached. It is possible, for example, for a Beaver Scout who is an excellent swimmer to gain a higher level badge than a Scout who has just taken up the activity.
